About the role
Before an AI project starts, someone has to answer whether the data supports it. After it ships, someone has to show whether it worked. As a Data Scientist you do both: exploratory analysis and modelling up front, and measurement of AI system performance after launch.
You work with real client data - support tickets, documents, transactions, usage logs - and turn it into decisions.
What you will do
- Explore and assess client datasets before AI projects are scoped.
- Build predictive and classification models where they beat an LLM approach.
- Design metrics and experiments to measure AI system impact.
- Analyse usage and conversation data to find improvement opportunities.
- Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
What we are looking for
- 2+ years in data science or analytics with real-world data.
- Strong Python with pandas and scikit-learn, and strong SQL.
- Solid statistics: experiment design, significance, bias.
- Can explain a result to someone who is not a data scientist.
Nice to have
- NLP or text analytics experience.
- Has worked with LLM outputs as data.
- Dashboards in Metabase, Looker or similar.
