We started out building software for startups. What changed the business was watching the same conversation happen over and over: a company wanted an AI feature, got a demo that impressed everyone in the room, and then discovered that the distance between a demo and something people can rely on is most of the work.

Demos are easy now. A single afternoon and a good model will produce something that looks finished. What is still hard - and what we build - is the part after that: retrieval that returns the right document when the query is phrased badly, evaluation that catches a regression before a customer does, permissions that hold when a model is asked to be helpful, and a cost curve that does not surprise anybody in month three. We do that work through our AI engineering services: direct project builds, embedded engineering pods, and white-label delivery for agencies.

Plenty of firms in our position obscure this. We would rather state it, because the arrangement is the reason our rates are what they are and you should be able to price that in.

• 03You get $2,800 a month instead of $18,000 because of where the salaries are paid, not because of what is left out of the work.
• 04What you give up is overlap. Four hours a day with US Eastern, one with US Pacific. If your work needs eight, we are the wrong firm and we will tell you.

The measured ones are worth reading in full: 68% lower query latency on a multi-tenant retrieval platform and an 87% first-loop repair rate on an autonomous engineering agent.

• 01We say no to work we should not take. Under $4,500 you want a freelancer. If your problem does not need AI we will say that during scoping, before you have paid for anything.
• 02Fixed scope, fixed price. Overruns caused by us are ours. Overruns caused by a scope change are quoted before the work happens.
• 03Every build ships with an evaluation harness. Code without a way to tell whether it still works is a liability we are not willing to hand over.
• 04You own everything. Code, prompts, eval data, infrastructure definitions, documentation - from the first commit, not on final payment.
• 05We do not resell API credit. Model and cloud spend goes on your accounts at cost, so nobody has an incentive to use more tokens than the problem needs.

We are not a no-code or workflow-automation agency. We use n8n, Zapier and Make where they are genuinely the right tool and we will tell you when they are, but wiring together someone else's connectors is not the business. We are not a staffing marketplace either - the engineers are employees, not a bench of contractors being resold.

We also do not have SOC 2 Type II. We say so on the security page along with the controls we do operate, because a vague answer to that question is worse than an honest no.
